About

Alex Korchynski is a Buffalo-based UI/UX designer working with companies to enhance their digital products and optimize customer experience. But she wasn’t always doing this. Prior to trying her hand at design, Alex worked in architecture and as an assistant in a museum. Wanting the best parts of both jobs, she switched gears and landed in a UX design course. Now, she specializes in user research and interface design, combining her academic (art history!) and practical (building!) backgrounds into one perfect, pretty package for users’ desktops and devices.

If she’s not working, she’s probably hunting down the next chair for her collection or eating chicken fingers, negroni in hand.

Alex holds bachelor’s degrees in art history and material culture from the University of Toronto and her Master’s in arts management from the University at Buffalo.
